1 Peter 1:18 – 21: The last two verses read each begin with the pronoun “Who”. In verse 20 it is Christ Who was “foreordained” the sacrificial lamb. In verse 21 it was for you who believe.
Romans 3:23 – 25: Notice that “Whom God hath set forth” (marginal reading, “foreordained”).
Hymn 316 – We are by Christ redeemed: In the first verse of this hymn we have the present redemption of our souls; while in second verse we have the future redemption of our bodies.
